Today was the first day back after winter break! Happy New Year everyone!
Today in biology, I posted students' second quarter grades. Then they used this information and the "Planning for the end of the Semester" sheet (get it from the Week 19 folder in the document crate) to make goals for the final. I also handed back a bunch of papers, so please check to see if yours are in the returned work box with your period # on it.
Ms. Adams did a brief presentation called "Reflecting & Planning" that you should take notes on in the notebook on p. 111. See Ms. Adams to see her version of the notes.
Finally, begin your "Make Your Own Study Guide" on notebook p. 112. See Ms. Adams for information on how to set this up.
Homework: Write at least fifteen unique study guide questions for tomorrow!
Today in AP biology, we did much the same thing as in regular biology, so see above. The only difference is that tomorrow we will be doing the Mitosis Lab #3, so review your lab handout pp. 39-34 for tomorrow. Also, you will turn in your Cnidaria and Platyhelminthes student handouts tomorrow and the quizzes will be on Thursday.
